Regional Facilitator for Africa for Southern Voices on Adaptation to Climate Change

Are you strong on adaptation, advocacy and networking in Africa? Will you host a part time advocate for pro-poor adaptation policies – in Malawi, Kenya or Ghana?

CARE Denmark is recruiting a regional facilitator for Africa for the new phase of our Southern Voices on Adaptation (SVA) project for 2016 – 17. The key focus of the facilitator is to strengthen the capacity of three partner networks in Malawi, Ghana and Kenya for advocacy on pro-poor adaptation policies, and to promote cross-learning and networking within and outside the SVA.

The position is half-time around 20 hours / week, and will be hosted by an existing civil society organization or regional network in Africa, with a basis in either Ghana, Kenya or Malawi.

Applications are invited from individual candidates or from potential host organisations/networks who can propose suitable candidate.
